My name is Kim Gover I started making jewellery in 2005 after looking at items in retail outlets and thinking 'I can do that!' I started researching tools, techniques beads and gemstones on the internet and put what I learned into practice. Belonging to several jewellery making groups helped to develop my creativity and allowed me to begin to sell my creations at craft fairs, private functions and through my website and since then I also have begun making my own lampwork glass beads

Summary:
I find my inspiration for colours and themes in the things I see around me all the time. These can often be as obscure as the cover of a book I am reading or the colours from a cereal box! When inspiration hits I just have to make a piece straight away and can spend hours hunting for the right beads or components for my pieces.
I take commissions for pieces and love these as they are often a real challenge. I do live by one rule though and that is that I only ever make one of each piece, my customers know they truly have an original and exclusive design!
